On the 10th Anniversary of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (also known as the Istanbul Convention),&nbsp;the European scenario is not uniform: on the one hand, there is a growing&nbsp;awareness of the need to fight the phenomenon with strong determination; on the other&nbsp;hand, some setbacks must be noted, such as the Turkey&rsquo;s withdrawal from Istanbul Convention.&nbsp;In this context, the meeting and debate between Italian and Turkish scholars, with the&nbsp;precious contributions of European and national institutions&rsquo; members, was an important&nbsp;opportunity to assess the current situation, while seeking a common cultural<br />ground with a glance towards the future.
