Encyclopedia of Sacred Theology: Its Principles is the second in a three-volume series. Written by Abraham Kuyper and translated into English by Reverend J. Hendrick Devries, it is a massive book about the history of theology and its place amongst the sciences.

Kuyper's work is extensive and challenging. The book presents an extremely detailed and nuanced discussion of the nature of theology. At more than 700 pages, it is no short work, particularly when one considers that it is only one volume in a three-volume set.
