But we are gratified in knowing that many others In this city, and throughout the Union, have and are now giving the subject a candid review, and as we are sensible that it invites close examination, and challenges the strictest scrutiny, so we expect that medical gentlemen will, in ac cordance with experimental knowledge and professional judgment, receive this great agent as a most efficient aux iliary: nay, a sine qua non in the treatment of the diseases referred to. The fallacy of any one remedy meeting the numberless phases of disordered action in pulmonary affections, is too absurd to be entertained for a moment.
