<br />My Granddaughter&rsquo;s name is Bloom. It&rsquo;s a name that&rsquo;s been in her father&rsquo;s family for many years.<br />A good friend of mine, Julia Rueger, is an accomplished dollmaker. She created a fairy doll and asked me if she could name her doll Bloom. Of course, I was thrilled. When I saw her doll, I was immediately inspired to write about her. I have pictured her here.<br />She is magical. So, I bought the fairy doll, Bloom, and gave her to my granddaughter, her namesake, for Christmas.<br />The exciting result is that I wrote this book. It is the story of Bloom, the Flower Fairy Princess of the beautiful Woods of Eire, also known as Ireland.<br />In this book, you will read about her wondrous adventures and the fascinating friends she meets along the way. You will meet an adorable little tree frog, a beautiful Blue Fairy Wren bird, a very scary Troll and Bloom&rsquo;s Guardian Angel, a Golden Butterfly.
