At the outset of his childhood, Todd was faced with a devastating circumstance when a fire consumed much of his family's worldly possessions. Through thick and thin, however, he persevered and eventually flourished, culminating in a triumphant graduation from middle school. Along the way, he grappled with a diagnosis of diabetes, underwhelmed by unsuccessful attempts at making the basketball team, and experienced turbulence with his closest friendships. Despite strained ties with his father, Todd was bolstered by the deep love of his mother and developed an appreciation for his sister. All in all, Todd honed in on moments of grace, gratitude, and adoration, holding those dear who provided immense support during his journey.
