<b><i>Great Expectations</i></b>&nbsp;is Charles Dickens&#39;s thirteenth novel and his second novel, after&nbsp;<i>David Copperfield</i>, to be fully narrated in the first person. The story traces the growth of Philip Pirrip, called Pip, from a boy of shallow dreams to a man of depth and character.&nbsp;<i>Great Expectations</i>&nbsp;has been filmed many times and the novel is regarded by many as Dickens&#39; greatest achievement.
