A sixty-something writer, weary of his dull life and lacking inspiration for a new book, decides to seek refuge in an abandoned village, where he rents a ramshackle house. After the first week, and without having written a single line of his new book, he realizes that atop a dilapidated hermitage, there is a gargoyle.<br/>
