The frontispiece will be an exceptionally fine photograph accompanied with a letter in facsimile from Mr. Robert T. Lincoln in which he states his preference for it as the best likeness of his father.<br><br>The Text<br><br>In addition to a descriptive monograph there will be a numbered list corresponding to the chronological arrangement of the photographs. This list will consist of data gathered from many sources concerning the time, place and conditions of the making of the portraits, credit being given, as far as may be, to the sources from which the information and portraits were obtained.
