The veterans of the Civil War, Federal and Confederate, are com mending our able Secretary of War for his efforts to obtain the names, numbers, and full enrollment of the soldiers of the Confederacy. These records are necessary to complete the official history of the war, and to give just recognition to the American sol diers of the South.
