Oxy-Acetylene Welding and Cutting is a fantastic book for anyone interested in metalwork. Although some more modern techniques were developed after this book was written it also contains lots of useful skills and knowledge which are dying out in modern days and will be especially valuable for artisan metal workers and craftsmen.<br><br>Much of the information here of course is timeless and it contains an excellent section on metals and alloys and more on chemical processes and reactions. Other subjects include annealing, tempering, hardening, heat treatment and the restoration of steel as well as handling and use of the fuels and equpiment required.
