Under the leadership of Disraeli, the in ?uence of Randolph Churchill, and the guid ance of Salisbury, the Tory Party realized its true destiny it rose above the mere interests of a class, and became a great national party standing for great principles, it identified itself with the welfare and happiness of the people. It was in consequence trusted by the people. Let it beware lest it fall once more to the level of a faction, the subservient tool of a greedy class, suspected and despised by the great Democracy of to-morrow.
