No apology is needed for the issue of another work by Dr. Vogel. For nearly twenty years he has contributed largely to the knowledge of American photographers by means of his monthly correspondence in the Philadelphia Photographer, and three editions of his excellent Hand book. Therefore, a warm welcome is confidently expected for this new contribution to our literature.
