This anomalous state of things is exceedingly annoying to the States of Central America, and but little less so to the United States for through the Bay of Honduras and across some Of these States lies one Of the most desirable routes to our possessions on the Pacific. This interference, it will be rec'ollected, did not assume a marked character until after our acquisition of California.
