Rhode Island Quarterly Meeting was established by the Yearly Meet ing in 1699, and at that time comprised the Monthly Meetings Of Rhode Island, Dartmouth and Narragansett. In the early records the last of these three is called Kingston, but it is now known by the name of Greenwich.
