Tired of always moving to a new neighborhood, Kyle keeps to himself, seemingly unable to form meaningful friendships. On his first day at a new school, he gets bullied, making him distrust other kids, including Lucy, an eccentric girl who befriended him.<br />However, when he gets entangled in a search for a stolen jewel set up for an auction for the benefit of wildlife preservation, he has no choice but to cooperate. On a race against time, Kyle, together with Lucy and his cousin, Lance, set out on a hunt for the missing rose necklace and discover new friendships.
