Two homeless young men. A harsh New York winter.  Life can sometimes be very cruel.

Erik and Tristan are hungry, cold, and alone on the unforgiving streets of New York City and it’s the dead of winter. Forced to stay at a dirty and dangerous shelter for teens because they committed the sin of falling in love, their options are looking pretty grim.

When a kindly man offers food and warmth, Erik and Tristan are unsure of the stranger’s motives, but the two young men are really in no position to refuse. What does fate have in store for this young couple? Is this encounter the change of luck it seems to be, or are the two young men merely trading one bad situation for another?

However, true to his word, Ian provides the young couple food and a warm place to stay until they can get back on their feet.  Helping them secure jobs, he assures them both there are no strings attached. The three began to settle into their new living arrangements. Erik and Tristan are soon comfortable in their new home.

Then tragically, Tristan’s life is changed forever. Erik is gone. What else does fate have planned for this young man? After all, how much more can Ian afford to help?
