OF late it has been far from easy to name an English book on miracles which is at once modern, relevant, and positive. The in?uential works of Mozley and Bruce, although in no way obsolete, were published in 1865 and 1886 respectively; and the student of to-day will naturally ask a treatment of the subject which contemplates the more recent discussions in theology and philosophy.
