The following little work makes no preten sions to any other originality than that of plan. It has been prepared under the conviction, elsewhere expressed by the author, that a practical skill in logic can only be attained by a practical acquaintance with its rules, and that the means of a more progressive application of these, than has yet been furnished in works on the subject, was still a desideratum.
