The significance of sexual love is often viewed in the species' propagation, which is considered as the vehicle for that expansion. That viewpoint is erroneous in my opinion, not just for ideological grounds, but also because of natural-historical reality. Procreation of living things may not need sexual love, as shown by the fact that it does not necessitate an equal division of sexes. A significant portion of the plant and animal worlds reproduce asexually, via differentiation, budding, sporulation, and grafting, for example. The highest forms of both biological kingdoms, on the other hand, reproduce via intersection. However, such organisms, both vegetative and partially animal, can reproduce asexually (plant extraction, virginity in higher insects), and if we ignore these phenomena and assume that higher organisms reproduce through sexual union as a general rule, we must still conclude that the factor is not related to reproduction in general (because it can also occur asexually), but only with the reproduction of higher organisms. As a result, the significance of sexual division (and sexual love) should be found alone in the concept of the higher body, rather than in the concept of life and reproduction.
