This book reflects on a variety of long-standing topics. The majority of them are explanations of the Buddha's tales, doctrines, philosophies, and practices. When one finds oneself in the void between civilizations and traditions, however, Buddhist concepts are contrasted and interlaced with elements from diverse cultures. The Bible, Baudelaire's poetry, Roland Barthes, and evolutionary biology are among the other sources. I don't believe in God any more than I believe in Hamlet, despite the fact that I reference monotheistic texts. This isn't to suggest that neither God nor Hamlet are silent. The sections are dedicated to legendary and historical people who are based in many cultures and traditions. The road I took through the chasm between faiths and ancient mythologies helped me obtain a sense of what life was like. The more I walk, the more I feel these trails are nothing more than a series of clefts in the ground.
