Prophylaxis with mechanical and/or pharmacologic therapies is essential to avoid DVT. Only an adequate adherence to prescribed therapies can avoid risks, and failure to tackle adherence issues early may cost the physician more time and energy later. This booklet briefly lists some simple suggestions that can help you improve your patient’s compliance in everyday clinical practice.
