One reviewer claims that these notes are too pro Russian-that I have said nothing about the sup posed frauds and dishonesties connected with the building of this railway. Certainly not. I do not consider that a mere book of travels has any place for such matter. To those interested in the progress of the great Empire of the North I can recommend nothing more interesting than a journey from ocean to ocean over this her great railway.
