Our book for the coming year, The Light of the World, is published by the Central Committee. Its author is Mr. Robert E. Speer, who deals in an attractive and sympathetic way with the great religions of the world. No one is better fitted for the task, and Mr. Speer has in these six chapters presented fairly these Eastern faiths and shown clearly their inadequacy to human need. The testimony of eminent men who have come out from these religions into the true Light cannot be disputed or discounted. The presence in our own country of certain men and women who are giving incomplete and incorrect state ments of non-christian faiths, which are sometimes accepted by American women, makes this volume especially valuable at this time.
