As to a lady's outfit, Iwould not presume to dictate; I have learned better; but the following is suggested as the proper thing for the woods and mountains: Flannel under clothing, short walking dress, Turkish trowsers, buttoned at the ankle, soft felt hat, such as -is worn by gentlemen, roomy balmoral boots, camp slippers, rubbers, water-proof, cotton or kid gloves, with armlets to button it the elbow.
