The first in the series, &ldquo;What Katy Did,&rdquo; was published in 1872 and followed the next year by &ldquo;What Katy Did at School.&rdquo;<br />The two first novels were followed the current novel &quot;What Katy Did Next,&quot; first published in 1886, and two other sequels that continued one of the most important collections in children&#39;s literature: Clover&quot; and &quot;In the High Valley.&quot;<br /><br />This time, &quot;What Katy Did Next&quot; tells the adventures of Katy Carr as she travels to Europe.
