AS TIME WENT ON, Charlie noticed that the young birds that had been fit in the nest yesterday had now gotten up and flew away. He knew the deadline was running out, it wouldn&#39;t be long before the albatrosses would be back on shore. This made Charlie extremely worried. Either way, he didn&#39;t want to lose his herd and his efforts over the past several months had made him realize that being born was hard, survival was much harder. Charlie tried very hard to narrow things down to focus only on his herd contacts. Along the way, he learned a lot from his albatross friends and from those conversations, they discovered countless new ways of working more efficiently.<br />For Charlie, effective communication isn&#39;t easy. He had to let go of old habits, work on a new schedule, and his previous misunderstandings about what it was like to be a good manager disappeared. He felt like he was adjusting between wanting to do something and the fact that the whole herd needed him around. Charlie&#39;s biggest motivation was that communication with everyone in the herd was really effective. The more he maintained steady conversations with his herd members, the more they trusted him. Chatting has become a habit that brings members together.<br />When the whole herd of seagulls began to work in a directional and productive manner, there were still a few that did not get much fat. Charlie really wanted to be able to do more to feed the herd, convince them to stay or at least regain trust in everyone and he knew where he should go to find answers.
