The book called Daniel is not only twofold in char acter, historical and prophetical, but it is written in two languages, Hebrew and Aramaic. Chapter i. And chap ters viii. To xii. Are written in Hebrew, and from chap ter ii. Ver. 4 to the end Of chapter vii. Is written in Aramaic.
