In these days when creeds are crumbling and the church itself is threatened, many will gladly avail themselves of the spiritual insight which here pierces through the creeds of Christianity and sees that not these, but the spirit and teach ings of Jesus are essential. All such will find reassurance for their faith in the thought that, as the author well says, the creeds have not conquered he is forever conquering the creeds.
