Nor has this Journal of a Lady of Quality, stumbled upon accidentally in a search for other material, failed in any par ticular to fulfill the expectations of its discoverers or the promise of its charming title and opening pages; and one can only marvel that such a treasure should have lain so long unproclaimed.
