Massimo Villani è dottore di ricerca in Filosofia politica. Si occupa di pensiero politico contemporaneo, con particolare attenzione alla dimensione estetica della politica. È redattore della rivista “Shift. International Journal of Philosophical Studies” e membro del laboratorio di ricerca “Il pensiero italiano e le filosofie europee” dell’Università degli Studi di Salerno. Scrive per “OperaViva Magazine” e i suoi saggi sono stati pubblicati in volumi e riviste nazionali e internazionali. Ha curato l’edizione italiana dei testi L’altro ritratto (con D. Calabrò, 2014) e Il disegno del piacere (2017) di Jean-Luc Nancy e L’inconscio estetico (2016) di Jacques Rancière.
