Sie fragen sich jetzt bestimmt, was ist ein Stoma oder Ileostoma?
Nun das ist gar nicht so einfach zu erklären. Ich versuche es mal so: Der Begriff Stoma kommt aus dem Griechischen und bedeutet Mund oder Öffnung. Als Stoma oder Ileostoma bezeichnet man eine operativ angelegte Öffnung in der Bauchdecke, durch die ein kleines Stück des Dünndarms Ileum oder Harnleiter nach außen auf die Hautoberfläche geführt wird. Der Stuhl oder Urin wird anstatt über den After oder Harnleiter, über diese künstliche geschaffene Öffnung aus dem Körper ausgeschieden. Dieses Buch ist die Fortsetzung von Meine Diagnose Morbus Crohn.
