Le culture e i luoghi delle droghe: Sul finire degli anni Ottanta si realizzano, prima negli Stati Uniti e poi in Europa, i primi rave, ovvero feste frequentate da giovani attratti dalla musica tecno e, spesso, dalla possibilità di consumare sostanze psicoattive con finalità ricreative e performative. Il volume ricostruisce i luoghi e le culture delle droghe connesse alla scena dei parties, i quali si caratterizzano per una grande varietà rispetto al genere musicale, agli spazi, agli allestimenti, all'organizzazione, all'estetica nonché alle sostanze psicotrope fruite ed alle loro combinazioni. Tali differenze determinano diverse tipologie di feste, tanto che è possibile descrivere le peculiarità di ciascuna di esse (es. tecno party, goa party, circuit party, drum'n'bass party, etc.). Il cuore del testo è rappresentato da una ricerca condotta in forma mimetica ed a base contestuale definita e delimitata, volta alla descrizione dei party del circuito mainstream (come, ad esempio, i festival di Osoppo e di Pelago, o la street Rave di Zurigo) o afferenti ai contesti più underground (come il grande rave di Montalto di Castro, il party di Mottagrossa o quello di Bibbiena). Chiudono il volume alcune considerazioni sul tema della prevenzione e della riduzione del danno all'interno delle feste nonché alcune riflessioni sulle analogie e differenze tra i tipi di party.

These differences determine different types of parties, so that you can describe the characteristics of each of them (eg techno party, goa party, circuit parties, drum ' n ' bass party, etc.). The core of the text is represented by research conducted in camouflage and contextual based form defined and bounded, aimed to describe mainstream circuit parties (such as the festival of Osoppo and Pelago, or street Rave) or related to more underground contexts (like large raves of Montalto di Castro, the party of Mottagrossa or Bibbiena). Close the volume some considerations on the subject of prevention and harm reduction within the parties as well as some thoughts on similarities and differences between the types of parties.
