Talmud babilonese. Trattato Qiddushìn. Testo ebraico a fronte: Il trattato Qiddushìn (Matrimonio) è l'ultimo dell'Ordine delle donne. Vengono affrontati numerosi argomenti relativi ai rapporti coniugali. Prima di tutto si spiegano le regole e i significati della cerimonia del matrimonio e le procedure riguardanti la prassi del fidanzamento. Qui, il trattato si dilunga sui diritti delle donne nel matrimonio spiegando in questo senso i contenuti del contratto nuziale (Qetubà). Poi si affronta tutto ciò che riguarda il divorzio dal punto di vista sociale e legale con molti racconti di numerosi casi di divorzio. Una vasta parte del trattato è dedicata agli aspetti legali riguardanti le proprietà dei coniugi in relazione al matrimonio, al divorzio e all'eredità. Viene inoltre trattata la questione delle donne il cui marito è scomparso, ad esempio in guerra, e di come e quando si può concedere alla donna lo stato di divorziata. Il trattato Qiddushìn è molto interessante sia per l'aspetto dei codici legislativi riguardanti il matrimonio sei per le ampie parti di racconto morale che compongono questo trattato. Il progetto di traduzione del Talmud Babilonese giunge al suo quarto trattato dopo la pubblicazione dei trattati Rosh haShanà (Capodanno), Berakhòt (Benedizioni) e Ta'anìt (Digiuno). Si tratta del più grande progetto italiano di traduzione mai intrapreso, con il coinvolgimento del CNR e del MIUR, e la partecipazione di 80 studiosi tra redattori e traduttori. Un progetto che mira alla pubblicazione completa del Talmud, opera fondamentale per la cultura ebraica e, di conseguenza, per quella occidentale.

The Qiddushìn Treaty is very interesting both for the aspect of the legislative codes concerning marriage six for the broad parts of moral narrative that make up this treaty. The draft translation of the Babylonian Talmud reaches its fourth treaty after the publication of the treaties Rosh haShanà (New Year), Berakhòt (Blessings) and Ta'anìt (Fast). It is the largest Italian translation project ever undertaken, with the involvement of the CNR and MIUR, and the participation of 80 scholars among editors and translators. A project that aims at the complete publication of the Talmud, a fundamental work for Jewish and, consequently, Western culture.
