The text, which has as its subject the route of the old road, water doesn't just describe the historical events and artifacts, but focuses on those aspects of the valley landscape that crosses. Starting from the ancient Roman origins and, through the following centuries, up to the present day, we retrace the main historical and social events that have led to the existence of the civic aqueduct of Genoa, in the Valbisagno and in the city. Describes the methods for water supply of European, Asian and Oriental civilization and the ancient water systems in existing settlements. The last part describes the recovery for water purposes, a branch of the civic aqueduct in the 1990s.
