Costituzione. Storia di un concetto dall'antichità a oggi: Una sintesi completa che ripercorre la storia dell'idea di Costituzione dall'antichità ai giorni nostri. Dall'ordinamento della "politeia" greca e dalle nozioni romane di "constitutio" e "status rei publicae" al cammino altomedievale della parola e del concetto, il discorso si dipana in una dettagliata analisi delle fonti, mettendo in luce il processo per cui si potè giungere alla piena affermazione del significato "attuale" di Costituzione. La parte dedicata ai due ultimi secoli, e in particolare alle teorie del costituzionalismo moderno (inglese, nordamericano e francese), esamina il legame tra la Costituzione e la storia, come pure gli intrecci tra Costituzione e libertà. Si evidenziano per questa via i caratteri tipici delle Costituzioni del XIX-XX secolo.
A complete synthesis that traces the history of the idea of Constitution from antiquity to the present day. By the sort of "Greek and Roman notions of" politeia "constitutio" and "status rei publicae" the dark ages of the word and the concept, the speech unfolds in a detailed analysis of the sources, shedding light on the process by which it was able to achieve full affirmation of current "meaning" of the Constitution. The part dedicated to the two last centuries, and in particular to the theories of modern constitutionalism (English, North American and French), examines the relationship between the Constitution and history, as well as the connections between the Constitution and freedom. We highlight in this way the typical features of the constitutions of the 19th and 20th centuries.
