Berghain. Per un'architettura del perforante: Ad oggi il Berghain rappresenta molto di più di un singolare fenomeno sociale: la scriteriata selezione al suo ingresso, l'assenza di specchi al suo interno, così come il divieto a fotografare e catturare ogni soggetto, non sono solo alcune delle caratteristiche che hanno contribuito alla sua mitopoiesi, compongono anche un assemblaggio di spazio e corpi al cui interno viene spezzato il circolo vizioso per il quale il consumo si definisce come la continua e relativa cattivazione e liberazione degli istinti. In un'epoca in cui all'architettura non sembra esser destinato alcun ruolo attivo nella dissipazione delle istituzioni che assoggettano i corpi, il Berghain pone all'architetto una questione fondamentale: come ripensare la disciplina in virtù delle sue potenzialità latenti, emancipandola dalla retorica della bellezza per renderla funzionale meno alla ripetizione continua dello status quo, che ad un'emancipazione collettiva. To Date the Berghain represents much more than a singular social phenomenon: the written selection at its entrance, the absence of mirrors inside, as well as the prohibition to photograph and capture any subject, are not only some of the characteristics that have contributed to its mythopoesis, also compose an assemblage of space and bodies within which the vicious circle is broken for which consumption is defined as the continuous and relative cactivation and liberation of the instincts. At a time when architecture does not seem to be intended any active role in the dissipation of institutions that subject bodies, the Berghain poses to the architect a fundamental question: how to rethink the discipline by virtue of its potential Latent, emancipating it from the rhetoric of beauty to make it functional less to the continuous repetition of the status quo, than to a collective emancipation.
